How to do it

Cut the onions, the pumpkin and the garlic and let the lentils drain. Heat up olive oil in a soup pan and fry the onion, garlic, sambal manis and ground cumin for 4 minutes. Add the pumpkin and water and boil it for 5 minutes on medium heat. Puree with a hand blender once finished and add some salt and pepper to taste.

Put the soup back in the pan and heat it up. Add the lentils to the soup and heat for 3 minutes. Meanwhile crumble the feta and cut the chives.

The soup is ready now! Put it in a bowl and garnish with the feta and chives. Enjoy!
